- KAT, MY 10 year old WIREHAIR DOXIE, spends her day with me in the shop! My husband, Karl, and I started the Whistle-Stop Antique Mall in 1992.... I grew up in Puyallup on a Blueberry farm, best time & place to be in the 50's-60's. Got the junkin' bug in my late 20's, just love everything old. Added a 50's soda fountain with pinballs, jukeboxes and an actual soda fountain to our home. Love being in the Whistle-Stop with my Customers, helping them find their memories/treasures.
